Quinton's First Haircut :(

Now that I'm done with school (at least until I get accepted into the nursing program), I should have more time to update my blog. I decided it was time for Quinton's first haircut. With a little convincing of Corey, we set out to get the perfect trim, taking turns holding the kid down while the other one cut. His hair was really long up on the crown and starting to curl down at the nape of his neck. The curls were cute, but I didn't want to be one of those moms with a baby that has a mullet just because I can't let go of their baby hair :) We ended up taking about an inch off the top. The next day I trimmed the sides and back a bit with the clippers. Here is the before and after pictures. My little baby doesn't look like a baby anymore :( He looks so grown up!

What a day!

5:30am: woke up to Quinton throwing-up (not spitting up, full fledged throwing-up)
6:00am: gave him a bottle after the 30 minutes of screaming
6:30am: said bottle thrown up all over my bed, removed sheets and mattress pad, Emma now awake
7:00am: Quinton throwing up again, bathed poor throw-up saturated boy
7:30am: one more throw-up session (poor boy doesn't have much left to throw-up), sick baby falls asleep
9:00am: poor boy wakes up, then throws up :(
9:30am: tried the bottle again, takes 2 oz and falls asleep, sleeps until 11:30 :) 2-3 oz every few hrs in between sleep for rest of afternoon, no more throw-ups :)
6:00pm: holding sleeping baby who shoots diarrhea out his diaper, all over my pants, the couch, the floor and a pillow :( Then while changing the kid he poops again shooting it 3 feet across the room and all over me again!
9:00pm: Everyone (but mom) asleep :)
WELCOME TO MY DAY!! Lets hope tomorrow is a better one :)

Emma's new "hat"

Emma came walking out of her bedroom the other day sporting a new "hat". Yes, that's not a hat, it's her Princess Aurora underwear. How am I supposed to potty train a 2 year old that thinks underwear are worn on your head :)

5 months old already!

Quinton turned 5 months old back on the 15th. Man has time flown by! Here are his 5 month pictures. What a cute little boy :)

Our new pool!

We bought this pool for Emma since last year she really didn't enjoy the pool we had. I thought she'd have more fun with the one since it is more like a sprinkler and has some fun things to do. Even Quinton got in on the fun :) These were taken back on June 5th

Our new trailer :)

We bought a new trailer and took it up to Willard overnight back on May 5th, here are two pics from the trip. It was pretty cold, so we just stayed in the trailer most of the time. Emma watched Cinderella and the Princess and the Frog and Corey and I watched Avatar. (I decided to go back to school and haven't had much time to blog lately, I'm gonna try and get some things posted today)
