The Uintas

This past Memorial weekend, we went camping in the Uintas with some of Corey's friends. We left Thurs. morning and came home Sunday morning. We camped near the Christmas Meadows campground. We had a lot of fun. I thought it was going to be really cold, but it wasn't at all. Emma was the perfect little camper. She loved being in the outdoors! One day Corey, Emma and I walked up the road from our campsite and saw a cow moose. That was pretty cool. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Emma loves camping!

Me and my camo hat!
Corey found this log off the road and drug it back to camp with our truck.
He's very proud of himself!
Takin' a bath in the trailer, I should of taken a picture of the bath water after the bath, man was it dirty!
Emma and mom on the trail at the Christmas Meadow's campground.
A view of the meadow.
Dad (Corey) on the hike.

Emma and Corey (that lasted all of about 2 minutes, she didn't want to be on Corey's back)

Emma, Daddy and the 4 Wheeler!

We may have started something we shouldn't have. This is Emma on our new 4 wheeler. Now all she wants is to go for a ride. You can't hear her in the video, but the whole time you ride she says, "ohh, ohh," in excitement!

Do I look like my Grandpa?

Ok, I couldn't resist, I had to post another side by side of My Dad and Emma, especially since she is in a striped shirt and shorts like he was. His pictures were taken on his first birthday, June 25, 1956 and Emma's just yesterday at almost 14 months old. Unfortunately, she is not making the same face, but she often does.
